Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) Implementation Consultant -Okta About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) consultant to guide our client through a successful implementation of a leading IGA solution. The consultant will be responsible for designing, deploying, and configuring the chosen platform to meet the client's specific security, compliance, and user lifecycle management requirements. Responsibilities: Assessment & Planning: Conduct a thorough assessment of the client's current identity and access management (IAM) processes, identifying any gaps, risks, and areas for improvement. Analyze the client's security and compliance requirements, including internal policies, and any audit obligations. Support the team with the evaluation of the tasks and understand the dependencies by working with the Customer Lead Design & Configuration: Based on the chosen IGA platform ( Okta as the current choice), design and configure its core components, including: Access Request workflows for streamlined and auditable access provisioning and de-provisioning. Access Certifications (re-certifications) for periodic review and validation of user access rights. Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies and models to enforce least privilege principles and simplify access management. Segregation of Duties (SoD) rules to mitigate risks associated with conflicting permissions. Access Insights, reporting, and analytics dashboards to monitor and audit access activities, providing actionable intelligence. Integration & Testing: Integrate the chosen IGA solution with the client's existing IT infrastructure and critical applications. This may include directories (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP), HR systems, cloud platforms, and other security tools (e.g., SIEM). Develop and execute comprehensive test cases throughout the implementation lifecycle to validate the functionality, performance, security, and integration points of the IGA solution. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during testing and implementation phases. Deployment & Support: Plan and execute the deployment of the IGA solution in the client's environment Provide ongoing post-implementation support, including proactive system monitoring, timely resolution of user inquiries, troubleshooting of production issues, and making any necessary configuration adjustments. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the implemented IGA solution. This should include configuration guides, user manuals, troubleshooting steps, and architecture diagrams. Knowledge Transfer & Training: Conduct thorough knowledge transfer sessions to empower the client's IT team with the skills and expertise to manage and maintain the IGA solution independently after project completion. Required Skills & Experience: Proven experience implementing enterprise-grade Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions from leading vendors. Extensive knowledge of IGA principles, best practices, industry standards, and common deployment models. Strong understanding of various access management concepts, including RBAC, ABAC (Attribute-Based Access Control), SoD, and identity lifecycle management. Experience with integrating IGA solutions with a diverse technology stack, including directories, cloud platforms, and custom applications. Familiarity with scripting or programming languages for automation and integration purposes. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have: Relevant industry certifications in the IGA domain. Experience with specific IGA vendors (Okta preffered). Location-Remote,
