Job Description

As an IT network and endpoint security specialist, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Implementation and configuration of IT network & endpoint security solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and alignment with security best practices. - Understanding, troubleshooting, triaging, and diagnosing customer reported issues over the phone and via secure screen share. - Serving as a subject matter expert on IT network & endpoint security technologies including Firewall, WAF, EDR, MDM, and other relevant solutions. - Responding in a timely manner (with published SLA) to incidents and support requests. - Collaborating with internal or external team members to resolve customer reported issues. - Hosting troubleshooting conference calls bridging multiple individuals from vendors, clients, third parties, etc. - Testing and replicating customer issues as part of the troubleshooting process. - Updating customers and internal teams on the progress of customer issues using your technical knowledge and unique solutions. - Working closely with OEM / vendors to define new requirements and use cases from customer issues and feedback. - Maintaining accurate documentation of IT network & endpoint security configurations, policies, and procedures, and preparing comprehensive reports for clients and internal stakeholders. - Providing training and knowledge sharing sessions to educate clients as necessary and internal teams (Technical & Sales) on IT network & endpoint security technologies and emerging threats. - Attending security audits/reviews for IT network and endpoint security solutions/products. - Maintaining a high degree of knowledge about competitive product developments and obtaining necessary product certifications. - Completing administrative project tasks like time and expense entry, status reporting, and project completion. Skills required for this role include: - In-depth knowledge of IT Network & Endpoint Security Solutions/Products. - Intermediate knowledge in Server & client OS. - Familiarity with Firewall, WAF, EDR, MDM, and other relevant security technologies. - Ability to coordinate with external partners. - Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation and training decks. Qualifications and Certifications: - 3-Year Diploma/Technical Graduation in IT related fields. - MCSE & CCNA Certification. - Security product certifications (Firewall, EDR, DLP, etc.) are desirable. - 3-5 years of technical experience in Cyber Security/IT. - Experience supporting clients in a managed service organization.
