IC4V Specialist

As an IC4V (Integrated Cloud for Virtualization) Specialist at our company, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and managing IC4V environments to support enterprise virtualization needs. Your expertise in VMware vSphere, NSX, and cloud networking will be crucial in ensuring the security, scalability, and high availability of enterprise cloud environments. Your key responsibilities will include: - Architecting, deploying, and managing IC4V environments to support enterprise virtualization needs - Optimizing cloud resource provisioning, workload automation, and overall cloud performance - Implementing high-availability and disaster recovery strategies within IC4V environments - Configuring, managing, and optimizing VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, HA, DRS, and vMotion - Designing and managing NSX-based software-defined networking solutions for cloud infrastructure - Ensuring security best practices and compliance within cloud and virtualized environments - Performing root cause analysis and resolving virtualization and networking-related issues - Optimizing system performance through proactive monitoring and capacity planning Qualifications required for this role: - 6+ years of hands-on experience in IC4V, VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter), and NSX - Strong expertise in vSphere administration, including HA, DRS, vMotion, and virtual networking - Deep understanding of NSX networking, including micro-segmentation, distributed switching, and security policies - Experience in cloud virtualization, SDN, and software-defined infrastructure - Scripting experience with PowerCLI, Python, or Ansible for automation - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in cloud and network environments Preferred skills for this role include experience with Red Hat networking (RHEL, RHV, or OpenStack networking), knowledge of vRealize Suite for cloud automation and monitoring, familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments, and exposure to multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).,
