IBM Planning Analytics

We are seeking a skilled IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust financial planning and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in TM1 development, data integration, and financial modelling to support our organization's budgeting, forecasting, and analytical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development: Design and implement TM1 models, including
• Reporting: Create and maintain reports and dashboards using Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).
• User Support: Provide support to end-users, including training, troubleshooting, and resolving system-related issues.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for TM1 models, processes, and procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with finance and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective TM1 solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in TM1 Rules, Feeders, and TurboIntegrator processes.
• Experience: 36 years of hands-on experience in IBM Planning Analytics/TM1 development.
• Data Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL and experience and experience with data extraction and transformation.
• Reporting Tools: Experience with PAW and PAfE for report development.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex data sets and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications: IBM Planning Analytics certification is a plus.
• Financial Knowledge: Understanding of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Cloud Platforms: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• APIs: Familiarity with TM1 REST API or TM1py for automation and integration.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
