IAM / PAM Consultant Level 3 The IAM/PAM Consultant manages and maintains IAM and PAM systems, ensuring security and efficiency by collaborating with various teams. 5 to 8 years Must Have Nice to Have IAM Fundamentals: Expertise in designing and managing identity lifecycle, authentication, and authorization (e.g., SSO, MFA). X PAM Practices: Skills in securing privileged accounts, including credential vaulting, session monitoring, and just-in-time access. X Security Tools: Proficiency with IAM/PAM solutions like SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, or BeyondTrust. X Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of regulations impacting access control (e.g., GDPR, SOX, NIST 800-53). X Technical Integration: Familiarity with directories (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP), cloud platforms, and APIs for identity management. X Expertise in managing IAM and PAM solutions, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews. X Strong understanding of directory services like Active Directory (AD), LDAP, and Oracle Unified Directory (OUD). X Experience with IAM/PAM solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. X Proficiency in automation and scripting languages to streamline IAM/PAM processes. X Skills in conducting compliance checks and audits to ensure adherence to security policies and regulations. X Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity (SCI) Fundamentals(SC900) X Strong stakeholder collaboration across IT, security, and compliance teams X Analytical thinking for troubleshooting and gap assessments in IAM/PAM frameworks X Proactive in identifying identity risks and recommending improvements X Clear communication of access policies and governance requirements X
