Role Overview: You are a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician joining a team in Oman. Your main responsibilities will include installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems in both residential and commercial settings. Your deep understanding of HVAC systems, commitment to safety, and ability to work independently or as part of a team will ensure optimal system performance. Key Responsibilities: - Install and configure HVAC systems, such as air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration units. - Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality. - Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment and system malfunctions. - Diagnose problems and determine appropriate repair methods for various HVAC systems. - Replace defective components and parts like motors, compressors, and thermostats. - Ensure systems run efficiently with minimal downtime. - Ensure all HVAC work complies with local building codes and safety regulations. - Handle refrigerants and materials according to environmental standards. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. - Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, systems, and techniques. - Attend training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 1-3 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC technician. - Good knowledge of HVAC systems, including Chiller, AHU, FAHU, FCU, Duct Split, their installation, maintenance, and repair. - Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing HVAC system problems. - Familiar with various HVAC systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals. - Valid certification or license to work as an HVAC technician. - Certification in refrigeration or HVAC system repair is a plus. - Possession of relevant certifications like EPA Section 608 (for handling refrigerants) is advantageous. - Age between 22 to 45 years. - Capable of lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
