HVAC Foreman Pipefitter

In this role at Modern Mechanical Systems, Inc, you will be a Foreman overseeing the installation of complex heating and cooling systems for commercial buildings. Your responsibilities will include interacting professionally with customers and other trades, managing job site materials and orders, planning HVAC piping layouts, assembling pipe sections, installing pipe assemblies and fittings, and maintaining gas and liquid heating systems. You will need to hold a valid CT HVAC License S-1 or S-2, have a strong knowledge of HVAC/Hydronic systems, and be well-versed in Mechanical Codes. **Responsibilities:** - Professionally interact with customers, other trades, and clearly communicate work orders and statuses - Communicate with GC's/CM's daily including job-specific forms and safety items and Project Manager - Manage job site material, orders, employee tasks, forms, etc. - Plan the layout of HVAC piping, using drawings - Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment - Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, components such as Cabinet unit heaters or Air Handlers using hand or power tools - Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems **Qualifications:** - Valid CT HVAC License S-1, S-2 - Strong knowledge of HVAC/Hydronic systems - Vast Knowledge of Mechanical Codes If you are looking for a career that offers flexibility, job stability, strong compensation, and more, then this opportunity may be the right fit for you.,
