Human Resource Specialist/Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and comply with labour laws.
• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
• Oversee employee relations, addressing any issues or concerns that arise in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on HR policies, compliance, and best practices.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and data protection.
• Collaborate with management to develop strategies for employee engagement and retention.
• Monitor and report on HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of

  6 to 8 years

  of experience in human resources, with a focus on compliance and labour laws.
• A bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a masters degree or HR certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment legislation, and compliance management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
