Job Description

ob Summary:

Sourcing and attraction:

Create and post job descriptions on relevant platforms like job boards and social media.
Utilize various channels to source candidates, such as professional networks, recruitment events, and campus recruitment.
Develop and implement creative strategies to attract top nursing talent and enhance the hospital's employer brand.

Screening and assessment:

Review and screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct pre-screening phone calls or initial interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Interviewing and selection:

Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
Act as a liaison, providing updates and feedback to both candidates and the hiring team.
Facilitate background checks and reference checks for final candidates.

Onboarding and administration:

Assist in the onboarding process, including setting up new hires with necessary systems.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Prepare recruitment reports and track key metrics for management.

Relationship management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with potential candidates and nursing professionals.
Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand staffing needs and market trends.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is often preferred.
Proven experience as a recruiter, ideally within the healthcare industry.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Strong knowledge of recruitment processes and best practices in healthcare.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
