We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Product Development (NPD) Manager to lead the development and launch of innovative brass products. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of brass manufacturing processes—including casting, forging, and machining—and will play a pivotal role in bringing new products from concept to market. This role demands a cross-functional leader who can work closely with engineering, sales, quality, and manufacturing teams. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle for new brass components, fittings, and valves. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product specifications based on customer and market requirements. Conduct feasibility studies, cost analysis, and risk assessments for new products. Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure performance, durability, and compliance. Ensure new products meet industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, RoHS) and internal quality benchmarks. Work with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production, including tooling and process setup. Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to drive product innovation. Develop and manage NPD project. Maintain comprehensive documentation for each stage of product development. Qualifications 1.Hands-on experience with brass materials, casting, forging, CNC machining, and surface finishing. 2.Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and design-for-manufacturing principles. 3.Strong project management skills with a proven track record of launching successful products. 4.Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills. 5.Familiarity with product lifecycle management (PLM) systems and lean product development methodologies.
