Job Description: HR Executive – Recruiter

Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai
Experience: 3–4 years in recruitment
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site
Reports To: HR Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for an HR Executive – Recruiter to manage end-to-end recruitment across technical, non-technical and leadership roles. You will partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, source quality candidates and close positions within agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full recruitment cycle: requisition intake, JD creation, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer rollout and joining follow-up.
• Source candidates through job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed), social media, employee referrals, consultants and databases.
• Screen resumes and conduct telephonic and initial HR interviews to assess skills, experience, salary expectations and cultural fit.
• Coordinate with hiring managers on feedback, schedule interviews and keep candidates engaged throughout the process.
• Negotiate compensation, prepare offer letters and drive timely joining with a low drop-off rate.
• Maintain the recruitment tracker/MIS with accurate data: open positions, ageing, TAT, source-wise hiring and offer-to-join ratios.
• Conduct reference and background checks and support onboarding formalities.
• Build and maintain a talent pipeline for critical and recurring roles.
• Support employer branding and other HR activities as needed (induction, documentation, HR queries).

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate/MBA/PGDM in HR (preferred) or any relevant discipline.
• 3–4 years of hands-on recruitment experience.
• Strong Boolean search and portal-sourcing skills.
• Experience hiring for multiple functions (sales, technical, finance, operations, etc.).
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel for trackers and reports.
• Ability to manage multiple openings and meet deadlines.
