Job Description

As a Human Resource Information Systems Assistant at Illumina, you will play a crucial role in supporting the optimization of HR business processes through the administration, configuration, and support of Workday systems. Your contributions will directly impact the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of HR processes and data globally. Key Responsibilities: - Administer Workday systems to enhance HR business processes - Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR processes and data in HR systems worldwide - Provide training and consultation to employees on standard operating procedures and system functionality - Maintain and troubleshoot integrations from HR applications to other enterprise systems - Design and develop custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to identify trends for improved management decision-making - Collaborate with cross-functional teams in finance, internal audit, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits to align business requirements with HR systems - Act as a consultant to stakeholders in developing project concepts, assisting in business case development, feasibility studies, scope definition, resource requirements, and budgeting - Develop and manage core project deliverables including scope and requirement documents, resource plans, project schedules, risk management plans, change control processes, communication plans, test strategies, and lessons learned - Provide clear and concise status updates to key project stakeholders, including direct communications with project sponsors and steering committees - Escalate critical risks, issues, changes, problems, or delays to the project sponsor and HRIS leadership as necessary Please note that the listed responsibilities are essential but not exhaustive, and changes to individual responsibilities may occur based on business needs.
