You will serve as an authorized representative before Indian Customs and ensure compliance with all regulatory and documentation requirements. Key Responsibilities: Represent the company at Customs offices, ports, ICDs, and airports using a valid G Card. File and process Bills of Entry (BOE) and Shipping Bills for import/export clearance. Prepare and verify required documentation (invoice, packing list, HSN codes, licenses, etc.). Submit documents through ICEGATE / EDI systems and ensure timely data entry. Calculate and assist in payment of customs duties, IGST, cess, and other applicable charges. Maintain records of all clearance files and update logs for compliance tracking. As a Taxation Assistant Manager/Manager, you will be responsible for managing GST compliance, including return filing, reconciliation, and audits. You will ensure adherence to tax regulations and collaborate with internal teams for accurate reporting. Additionally, you will advise on tax law changes, handle audits, and support tax planning and staff training. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare GSTR1 data for filing. - Prepare and file GST returns and other tax compliance documents accurately and on time, including GSTR1, GSTR2B, and GSTR2A reconciliation. - Conduct GST audits and work on amendments for incorrectly processed invoices. - Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including GST, income tax, and any other relevant taxes. - Conduct regular audits and reviews of financial records to ensure tax accuracy and compliance. - Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and financial statements, including deferred tax calculations. - Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, advising management on potential impacts and required actions. - Respond to tax queries and manage communication with tax authorities during audits and assessments. - Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with internal policies. - Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities. - Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Provide training and support to staff on GST and tax-related matters.
