Housekeeping Associate

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. This role plays a crucial part in providing an excellent experience for guests by ensuring that all spaces are neat, hygienic, and presentable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies (soap, towels, etc.).
• Ensure all public areas (lobby, corridors, restrooms, etc.) are cleaned and well-maintained throughout the day.
• Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to the housekeeping supervisor.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are used safely and effectively, following proper guidelines and health standards.
• Stock and organize housekeeping carts and cleaning supplies.
• Adhere to the hotel's cleaning and safety standards and procedures.
• Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with guests or other departments.
• Assist with laundry duties, including folding towels and linens as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks as required, such as carpet cleaning, window washing, and cleaning air vents.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages to management.
• Ensure the safety and security of guest rooms and hotel property at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Good physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required.
• Good communication skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
