Housekeeper

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure a clean, orderly, and comfortable environment for all guests. The role plays a vital part in guest satisfaction and hotel hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as per hotel standards.
• Change bed linens and towels, restock guest amenities, and refill supplies.
• Dust, vacuum, mop floors, clean mirrors, and disinfect high-touch surfaces.
• Report any maintenance issues or lost & found items to the supervisor immediately.
• Follow proper procedures for key handling, room entry, and guest privacy.
• Handle guest requests (extra towels, amenities, etc.) courteously and promptly.
• Dispose of trash properly and separate linen for laundry.
• Follow all safety and hygiene protocols during cleaning tasks.
• Ensure trolleys and equipment are well maintained and stored properly after use.
• Cooperate with the housekeeping team and assist colleagues when needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in housekeeping preferred (not mandatory).
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Honest, reliable, and a team player.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
