Housekeeper

1. Clinical Area Cleaning & Sterilization:

· Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of all clinical rooms (procedure rooms, consultation rooms, recovery areas) before and after each patient, following strict clinic protocols.

· Clean and disinfect all high-touch surfaces (e.g., door handles, light switches, chair armrests, countertops) with approved medical-grade disinfectants.

· Empty and disinfect clinical waste bins, adhering to biomedical waste disposal protocols.

· Ensure proper handling and disposal of sharps containers as per safety regulations.

· Restock supplies in clinical areas (e.g., gloves, gowns, clean linens, towels).

2. Sterilization Room Support:

· Assist the nursing staff with the cleaning and preparation of non-critical medical instruments for sterilization (e.g., washing, drying).

· Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sterilization room.

· Ensure an adequate supply of sterilized packs and linens.

3. Public and Patient Area Maintenance:

· Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the patient waiting area, reception, and restrooms to a 5-star standard.

· Regularly vacuum, mop, and dust all non-clinical areas.

· Ensure restrooms are fully stocked with supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper) and are impeccably clean.

4. Linen Management:

· Collect used linens and towels from clinical and patient areas.

· Launder linens following specific infection control guidelines (appropriate temperatures, detergents).

· Fold and distribute clean linens to appropriate storage areas.

5. General Duties:

· Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning and housekeeping supplies, reporting needs to the Clinic Manager.

· Follow all Health and Safety policies, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like gloves, masks, and aprons.

· Be prepared to assist with setting up rooms for specific procedures or events.

· Report any maintenance issues (e.g., leaky faucets, broken equipment) promptly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
