Core Responsibilities: Financial Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing and managing budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and monitoring variances. Tax Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, preparing tax returns, and managing tax audits. Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks or opportunities. Auditing: Conducting internal audits and assisting with external audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Internal Controls: Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Financial Advice: Providing financial advice and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making. Reception & Visitor Management: Greet and welcome guests professionally. Maintain a visitor logbook and issue visitor passes. Telephone & Communication Handling: Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate department/person. Handle inquiries and provide basic information over the phone or in person. Scheduling & Appointments: Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, or interviews. Maintain conference room bookings. Administrative Support: Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, printing, and data entry. Receive and distribute mail, parcels, and courier packages. Coordination: Coordinate with internal teams and departments for smooth office operations. Liaise with housekeeping, security, and facility management as needed. Record Maintenance: Keep records of staff attendance (if assigned). Maintain stock of front desk supplies and place orders as required.
