Position: Hostel Warden

About the Role:

Saraswati Group of Colleges is inviting applications for the position of Hostel Warden (Male/Female) to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of student hostels. The role requires a responsible and disciplined individual who can ensure safety, discipline, hygiene, and overall well-being of the hostel residents while maintaining a student-friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise hostel operations, student discipline, and cleanliness of premises.
• Maintain records related to hostel occupancy, attendance, and maintenance.
• Ensure timely resolution of student concerns and maintain decorum in hostels.
• Coordinate with the administration and security team for hostel management.
• Enforce hostel rules and address disciplinary issues firmly but fairly.
• Manage food distribution and monitor mess hygiene and operations.
• Report any incidents, maintenance issues, or irregularities to the management immediately.

Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline (Preference: candidates with prior hostel management or defence background).
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in managing student hostels or institutional facilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle students of varied backgrounds with patience and authority.
• Must be responsible, disciplined, and available round the clock for hostel-related issues.

Accommodation & Facilities:

This is a full-time residential position.
The Warden is required to stay on campus 24×7.
The institution will provide free accommodation and meals within the campus premises.
