Role & responsibilities Implement and monitor hospital-wide infection prevention and control policies. Conduct regular infection surveillance and audits in clinical areas. Investigate and report healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). Train hospital staff on standard precautions, PPE usage, and hygiene protocols. Ensure compliance with NABH infection control standards. Monitor sterilization, disinfection, and biomedical waste practices. Coordinate with infection control committees and support internal/external audits. Preferred candidate profile 2-5 years of experience as an Infection Control Nurse in a hospital setting. Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and HAI prevention. Effective communication and training skills. Exposure to NABH accreditation process is a plus. Certification in Infection Control (CIC).
