* Study historic inventory records and prepare forecasts of the requirement. * Responsible for Equipment installation, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment. * Responsible for maintenance, calibration and day to day troubleshooting of medical equipments. * Should co-ordinate with company engineers in minimizing the down time of the equipment for calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting. * New equipment has to be added to the finance data (FA Register) and asset No. needs to be fixed on the equipment. * Sticker is placed on the equipment for the next PM and Calibration due date. * Consult organizational purchase, procurement team and Center Manager to be aware of rate contracts of AMC/CMC by negotiating with vendors . * After an indent is raised by the Incharge Nurse BME needs to discuss with concerned users and final discussion with Center Manager and Procurement Head and after which their approval can commence procurement process. * Carry-out negotiations with multiple vendors, evaluate and finalize the reliable and cost-effective vendors for procurement of materials. * After the Final Approval the PO will be raised either by BME/ Procurement team. * Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical equipment and instruments. * Train Nurses and OT Technicians and other personnel on the proper use of equipment. * Ensure the material purchased is of the agreed quality & meets the minimum standards set by the quality department. * Interface with all the departments in a periodic manner to ascertain the needs of various materials in each department. * Maintain the equipment details and track the prompt usage of the equipments. * Support Center Medical & Quality head in tracking the right equipment for the particular surgeries. * Maintain sources for all emergency supply items from other vendors and other branches of NOVA. * Ensure safe transport of the materials to the center. * Ensure all the SOPs are followed in the transportation and storage of the materials as per PO . *
