Hospital Billing Team Leads (UB04 TLs)

As a Hospital Billing Team Leader at our Hyderabad location, you will be responsible for managing a team that follows up on unpaid insurance claims and patient balances to ensure timely collection of money owed to the hospital. Your role will involve training the team, tracking progress, solving problems, and collaborating with other departments to enhance billing results. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and support a team of AR (accounts receivable) specialists. - Assign work and assist staff in following up on unpaid claims. - Review denied or delayed claims and ensure timely resolution. - Monitor daily progress and generate simple reports. - Train new staff and help existing team members enhance their skills. - Ensure compliance with billing rules and hospital policies. - Address recurring problems in the billing or follow-up process. - Handle complex or escalated account issues. Requirements: - Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred. - Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience with at least 1-2 years of experience as a Team Lead. - Skills: - Good knowledge of medical insurance billing and claim follow-up. - Ability to lead a small team and organize work effectively. - Strong communication and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in using billing software and Excel.
