Job Description

Hose Design Engineer for one of our prestigious client in the manufacturing domain. The ideal candidate should have strong CAD experience and a good understanding of mechanical design processes, especially related to hoses, fittings, and industrial assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop hoses, fittings, and related assemblies as per client requirements.
Create accurate 2D/3D models, drawings, and technical documentation using CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD/Creo).
Assist in material selection, product feasibility analysis, and tolerance studies.
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to support design-to-production processes.
Participate in prototype development and product testing/validation.
Revise engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications as needed.
Resolve design issues and provide engineering support during production.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety norms.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
1–3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design (hose or similar components preferred
).
Strong proficiency in
CAD tools
(SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or equivalent).
Basic understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical properties.
Good analytical skills and problem-solving approach.
Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
