Job Description

Job Description: As a Horticulture Supervisor, you will oversee a diverse range of tasks related to horticulture and estate management. Your responsibilities will include managing plant propagation and nursery operations, implementing ornamental horticulture practices, monitoring soil fertility in response to climate changes, controlling insect pests and diseases affecting plants, cultivating temperate vegetables and fruits, designing and maintaining landscapes, preserving horticultural resources, supervising farm workers and estate staff, ensuring disaster readiness and maintenance support, as well as supporting plant breeding and protection initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Manage plant propagation and nursery operations - Implement ornamental horticulture practices - Monitor and manage soil fertility considering climate changes - Control insect pests and diseases affecting plants - Cultivate temperate vegetables and fruits - Design and maintain landscapes - Preserve horticultural resources - Supervise farm workers and estate staff - Ensure disaster readiness and maintenance support - Support plant breeding and protection initiatives Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) or Master's degree (M.Sc.) or Diploma or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) or Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Horticulture,
