As an experienced Home Cook specializing in Indian and South Indian cuisine, your role will involve preparing a variety of dishes following traditional recipes and methods. You will be responsible for planning menus based on seasonal ingredients and dietary restrictions, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, ensuring the quality and freshness of ingredients, managing inventory, and collaborating with family members to understand their culinary preferences and dietary needs. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare a variety of Indian and South Indian dishes according to traditional recipes and methods. - Plan menus based on seasonal ingredients and dietary restrictions. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. - Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in cooking. - Manage inventory and order supplies as needed. - Collaborate with family members to understand their culinary preferences and dietary needs. Qualifications Required: - 2-10 years of experience in cooking Indian and South Indian cuisine. - Proficiency in cooking techniques specific to Indian dishes, including curries, dosa, idli, and biryani. - Strong understanding of spices and their usage in Indian cooking. - Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen. - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent communication skills to interact with family members regarding meal planning and preferences. Please note that the salary offered for this position is 16,000 to 17,000 per month along with food and accommodation. The ideal candidate should have a passion for cooking and a deep understanding of traditional recipes and cooking techniques.
