HOD Mathematics

As the Head of Department (HOD) of Mathematics at The Shri Ram Academy in Hyderabad, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the mathematics department and ensure the delivery of high-quality mathematics education to all students. You will be entrusted with developing and implementing the mathematics curriculum, conducting effective lesson planning, and evaluating the performance of teachers under your mentorship. Your role will also involve collaborating with other departments, communicating efficiently with students, parents, and staff, and maintaining the standards of excellence in education. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the mathematics department and ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum - Develop and implement the mathematics curriculum to meet the educational standards - Conduct thorough lesson planning to enhance the learning experience for students - Evaluate and mentor teachers to improve their teaching methodologies - Collaborate with other departments to integrate mathematics education effectively - Communicate efficiently with students, parents, and staff regarding academic progress and other relevant matters Qualifications Required: - Expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education - Experience in Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning - Effective Communication skills - Strong leadership and mentorship abilities - Ability to work collaboratively with other departments - Master's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field - Prior experience in a similar leadership role is a plus,
