Description
As HOD - Electrical Engineering, you will play a crucial role in leading the design, coordination, and delivery of complex electrical engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the design and development of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, security, and communication systems. - Conducting client meetings to gather project-related inputs and understand the detailed scope of the project. - Preparing Electrical Design Basis Reports and creating Electrical load summaries. - Sizing transformers and DG, as well as conducting HT and LT side calculations. - Designing ELVS Systems including CCTV, LAN, Access control, Door interlocking, PA, and FAS. - Performing cable sizing and scheduling, light lux level calculations, and cable tray routing. - Preparing technical specifications and coordinating with internal departments to ensure utility requirements are met. - Mentoring junior staff, managing client relationships, and ensuring successful project outcomes from concept through construction. - Coordinating with draftsmen to ensure timely completion of project deliverables. - Preparing Electrical and ELVS BOQ, tender-related documents, and vendor drawing approvals. - Releasing the GFC drawing by coordinating with other services and preparing technical and commercial bid comparisons.
