Hiring Secondary Marketing Analyst(Us Mortgage)

Position Overview

The Secondary Marketing Analyst ensures efficient, compliant, and profitable execution of mortgage secondary market activities. This role covers platform oversight, sales execution, PShedge reconciliation, and automated pricing engine (PPE) maintenance.

Core Responsibilities

Market Platform Oversight

• Monitor MCT daily for data-feed performance; address errors and coordinate resolution with the vendor.
• Approve and verify daily loan sales via MCT, ensuring accuracy and investor compliance.

Purchase Operations & Reconciliation

• Enter purchase advice into Encompass and warehouse systems; reconcile variances and report discrepancies.
• Perform pair-off and pipeline reconciliation to align sales with hedging strategies.

Sales Execution Support

• Support S&D transactions: solicit bids, evaluate offers, and recommend execution strategies.

Automated Pricing Engine (PPE) Maintenance

• Configure and maintain pricing platforms (e.g., OptimalBlue, ICE PPE, Polly): set program rules, margin bands, and investor eligibility.
• Validate pricing outputs through scenario testing; monitor system uptime and coordinate issue resolution.
• Collaborate with capital markets and secondary teams to confirm accuracy for locked and closed loans.
• Produce variance and system-health reporting; suggest improvements and maintain SOPs.

Lock Desk & Investor Coordination

• Assist lock desk with rate locks, extensions, and re-locks as needed.
• Track expiring investor locks and manage extensions in alignment with pricing strategies.

Reporting & Analytics

• Generate and distribute regular MCT, warehouse, and investor production reports (daily, weekly, month-end).
• Analyze pricing variances, pull-through, and pipeline data; present actionable insights.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure pricing engine logic and loan sales adhere to investor and regulatory standards.
• Maintain SOPs and training materials related to automated pricing setups and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education

  : Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.

• Experience

  : 2+ years in secondary marketing, capital markets, or mortgage operations.

• Technical Proficiency

  : Familiarity with PPE tools (e.g., OptimalBlue, ICE PPE, Polly), MCT, Encompass, and Excel.

• Analytical Skills

  : Strong attention to pricing accuracy, variance identification, and market dynamics.

• Communication

  : Effective collaboration with stakeholders across tech, secondary, origination, and investor teams.
