Hiring -Life Insurance - Direct Distribution Trainer For DD channel

Job Title:

Role Purpose:

To design, deliver and monitor training programmes for the Direct Distribution (DD) channel of life insurance including front-line sales, and new joiners ensuring they are equipped with product knowledge, sales skills, regulatory compliance and the right behaviours to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver training modules (classroom, virtual & on-field) for DD channel members (sales front-end).
  
• Conduct induction and onboarding training for new sales staff in the DD channel.
  
• Train on life insurance products, features, benefits, target markets, objection handling and need-based selling.
  
• Ensure regulatory compliance training (e.g., Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) norms, code of conduct, KYC/AML).
  
• Monitor the performance of learners post-training (conversion rates, persistency, business metrics) and provide feedback & coaching.
  
• Work with the channel / sales leadership to identify training needs, schedule calendar, and track training coverage & effectiveness.
  
• Maintain training records, MIS, feedback reports and help build/maintain the learning repository.
  
• Promote digital tools, e-learning, and blended delivery formats.
  
• Coordinate logistics, venue/virtual setup, and ensure smooth training delivery across locations (travel may be required).
  

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Graduate in any discipline
  
• 3-5 years (or more) of experience in life insurance sales or training (especially in a direct distribution channel).
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  
• Strong facilitation skills and ability to engage adult learners.
  
• Good understanding of life insurance products, sales processes and distribution channels.
  
• Familiarity with digital learning tools and virtual training delivery.
  
• Good analytical ability to track training impact and business outcomes.
  
• Ability to travel across locations (if required) and work independently.
