Job Description

• SP3D Installation, Complete setup of SP3D Projects. Including RDB (Reference Database) setup, IFC (Interference Server) setup, Batch Server and file server setup etc. • Installation and configuration of Oracle database (or) SQL Database. • SP3D Interference checking setup, scheduling, report generation and inter-discipline coordination for Clash resolution. • Study/Review key SP3D activities like interference detection and To-do” list. • Backup of SP3D databases, bulk loading of specifications. Develop/coordinate SP3D Practices and procedures for all disciplines. • Responsible for daily SP3D backup. • Assigning permissions to the SP3D users as per their discipline. • Isometrics – Lookout of Isometrics, customization of ISO options file, border file. for backup and recovery procedures • He/she will able to manage our Navisworks files and VAMS. • This person would also interface with engineering contractors to manage 3D model intake and quality control from projects. • Maintain VAMS 3D data repository for the client site • Extensive knowledge of Navisworks Simulate and Manage • Ability to work with Navisworks plug-ins and software development kit • Working knowledge of major 3D native modeling software • Working knowledge of laser scanning methods and file manipulation (E57, Recap, Cyclone) • Data management skills to help transforming 3D model data (Excel Power Query, possibly SQL, XML) • Strong organizational skills to manage large numbers of simulations and files • Strong communication skills to interface with US and India based contractors for hando
