About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Production Manager with strong hands-on exposure to HMC, CNC machining, aerospace components, and quality-driven manufacturing. The ideal candidate will lead production operations, solve machining challenges, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

• Lead day-to-day operations of the machine shop—CNC, HMC, VMC, and precision machining lines.
• Plan and execute production schedules to meet delivery targets.
• Improve machine utilization, manpower efficiency, and shop-floor productivity.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S implementation.

Quality & Problem Solving

• Work closely with QC to troubleshoot machining, dimensional, and process issues.
• Use structured problem-solving tools (RCA, 5 Why, 8D, Fishbone).
• Reduce rework, scrap, and quality defects through corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.

Team Leadership

• Manage supervisors, engineers, and operators effectively.
• Train and mentor team members to improve skill levels and discipline.
• Build a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in

  HMC & CNC machines

  , fixtures, cutting tools, and GD&T.
• Review drawings and process plans for manufacturability.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement, maintenance, and quality teams for smooth operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in

  CNC/HMC machine shop

  operations, preferably in aerospace manufacturing.
• Strong machining knowledge with problem-solving background.
• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt) preferred.
• Good communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and production challenges.

Work Schedule

• General shift

• Should be flexible to work in shifts when required

• 5.5 days working

Education

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Certifications in Six Sigma / Lean / Aerospace standards are an advantage.
