About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Medical Coding Trainer to join our team at Global Healthcare. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in multiple coding specialties and a passion for training and mentoring coders to ensure quality and compliance.

Specialties Required:

Anesthesia
Emergency Department (ED)
E/M (Evaluation & Management)
Surgery
Home Health
Denial Coding
Radiology

Key Responsibilities:

Train, mentor, and guide new and existing coders across the above specialties.
Develop training modules, assessments, and certification support material.
Conduct refresher training sessions to improve coding accuracy and productivity.
Stay updated with the latest ICD, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines and ensure coders compliance.
Provide performance feedback and improvement strategies for coders.
Collaborate with quality and operations teams to enhance coding standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on medical coding experience across multiple specialties.
Proven experience in training medical coders (preferred).
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Certification such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent (mandatory).
