Job Description

Cloud Engineer (L1)

Key Responsibilities

Assist in deploying and managing cloud services (VMs, storage, networking) on
AWS/Azure/GCP
Monitor cloud resources using tools like
AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or GCP Operations Suite
Troubleshoot basic issues related to compute, storage, and networking
Use
Terraform/CloudFormation
for basic infrastructure provisioning
Support CI/CD pipeline maintenance (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps)
Automate tasks using
Bash/Python scripts
Implement basic IAM policies and security best practices
Assist in vulnerability scans and patch management
Collaborate with L2/L3 teams to resolve complex issues
Maintain documentation for cloud architectures and procedures

Required Skills

1-2 years of hands-on experience with
AWS/Azure/GCP
(Certifications like AZ-900/AWS CCP are a plus)
Understanding of cloud networking (
VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers, VPN
)
Basic Linux/Windows administration skills
Familiarity with
Docker
and container fundamentals
Beginner-level scripting in
Python/Bash
Experience with monitoring tools like
CloudWatch, Grafana, or Prometheus
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Preferred Skills

Exposure to
Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE)
Knowledge of
serverless computing (Lambda, Azure Functions)
Understanding of
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
concepts
