Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled backend engineer responsible for designing and implementing robust APIs and data pipelines that connect enterprise systems and knowledge bases. In this role, you will focus on developing secure access patterns, real-time serving infrastructure, and maintaining persistent user sessionsall while collaborating closely with frontend teams to ensure low-latency, reliable responses.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement APIs and pipelines to connect enterprise systems, knowledge bases, and data.
• Handle authentication, SSO, RBAC, and other secure access patterns for enterprise deployments.
• Build real-time serving infrastructure with technologies such as WebSockets and PubSub to support collaborative and multi-agent workflows.
• Manage state, persistence, and retrieval for long-running user sessions.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to deliver low-latency, reliable responses.
• Ensure systems are observably debuggable through comprehensive telemetry, logging, and metrics.

What We Look For

Skills:

• Experience building reliability-heavy infrastructures, such as payments, SaaS, or enterprise backends.
• Proven ability to deliver APIs with sub-second latency at scale and minimal error rates.
• Expertise in debugging distributed systems and handling failures with precision.
• Strong design skills for building systems that meet both consumer-scale performance and enterprise-grade security and trust.
• Background in developing APIs and pipelines that support mission-critical workflows for large-scale consumer or SaaS products.
