Job Description

  • AMS to AEM Cloud Migration:

    • Lead or contribute significantly to the migration of AEM implementations from Adobe Managed Services (AMS) to AEM Cloud.
    • Collaborate with the migration team to move AEM instances, configurations, content, and workflows from AMS to AEM Cloud, ensuring minimal disruption.
    • Ensure a seamless transition for 400+ sites, optimizing for performance and scalability in the AEM Cloud environment post-migration.
    • Troubleshoot migration-related issues such as data replication, cache invalidation, and performance degradation.

  • Multisite Management in AEM:

    • Oversee the configuration of AEM Dispatcher for

      400+ sites

      spanning multiple brands, ensuring efficient content delivery across multiple AEM instances.
    • Implement and maintain multisite architecture, configurations, and strategies for

      global brands

      , ensuring performance and consistent delivery.
    • Ensure the

      efficient replication

      and synchronization of content and assets across all AEM instances, using

      dispatcher caching

      to minimize latency.

  • AEM Dispatcher Configuration & Optimization:

    • Configure, optimize, and maintain

      AEM Dispatcher

      for caching, load balancing, and performance across multisite environments.
    • Implement caching rules for individual sites and across brands to ensure fast content delivery, while preventing

      cache misses

      and

      unnecessary load

      on servers.
    • Manage Dispatchers

      cache invalidation

      policies and fine-tune them according to site-specific and global requirements.
    • Resolve issues related to

      AEM Dispatcher configuration

      , content propagation, and other performance bottlenecks.

  • Cloud Infrastructure & Scalability:

    • Design and implement

      cloud infrastructure

      (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AEM Cloud deployments, focusing on

      auto-scaling

      and

      high availability

      .
    • Ensure that

      Dispatcher

      configurations are aligned with cloud-native best practices for scalability and fault tolerance.
    • Work with DevOps teams to set up automated deployment and scaling of AEM Cloud resources for high-traffic scenarios.

  • Integration with CDNs & Performance Tuning:

    • Integrate

      Dispatcher

      with

      CDNs

      (e.g., AWS CloudFront, Akamai, Fastly) to accelerate content delivery, reduce latency, and minimize load on origin servers.
    • Implement

      edge caching strategies

      for improved site performance, reducing server-side stress, especially when handling 400+ sites across global locations.
    • Use performance tools and logs to continuously monitor Dispatcher’s impact on response times and optimize configurations as needed.

  • Security & Access Control:

    • Work with the security team to implement robust

      security policies

      for Dispatcher, ensuring secure access and data transmission for all AEM instances across multiple brands.
    • Ensure that security configurations and access controls are maintained during the

      AMS to AEM Cloud migration

      , minimizing risks during transition.

  • Collaboration & Documentation:

    • Work closely with

      AEM developers

      ,

      cloud architects

      , and

      DevOps teams

      to ensure successful integration of AEM, Dispatcher, and cloud infrastructure.
    • Provide guidance on

      best practices

      for managing large-scale multisite environments and ensure that migration efforts meet project timelines and objectives.
    • Document

      configuration procedures

      , migration steps, and best practices for future reference and team knowledge sharing.

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay current on emerging

      AEM

      ,

      cloud technologies

      , and best practices related to Dispatcher and

      content delivery optimizations

      .
    • Proactively suggest improvements or updates to existing infrastructure, configurations, and tools to enhance performance, scalability, and security.
