Job Title: Lead Security Engineer

Role Overview

This is an individual contributor (IC) role with no direct reports initially; however, future team expansion may offer opportunities to lead and mentor a security engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage CrowdStrike Falcon sensors across enterprise endpoints.
• Maintain sensor health, coverage, and version compliance to ensure complete endpoint visibility.
• Administer and fine-tune Falcon policies, including Prevention, Firewall, IOA rules, and exclusions.
• Monitor detections, perform initial triage, and escalate incidents as required.
• Support Incident Response using Real Time Response (RTR) for containment and investigation.
• Continuously improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives through policy tuning.
• Ensure timely updates, platform stability, and adherence to security baselines.
• Integrate Falcon telemetry with SIEM platforms and enhance correlation/alerting logic.
• Automate deployment and operational workflows using CrowdStrike APIs and scripting.
• Maintain documentation, generate reports, and collaborate with IT/Security teams for efficient remediation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Endpoint Security, or SOC environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with CrowdStrike Falcon administration.
• Knowledge of EDR technologies, security monitoring, incident response, and endpoint hardening.
• Experience with SIEM tools and security automation (Python, PowerShell, APIs).
• Solid understanding of networks, malware behavior, and operating system internals.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• CrowdStrike certifications (CCFA, CCFR, CCRA).
• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments.
