1.Design and develop complex mechanical components and fixtures, with a focus on welding fixtures and heavy engineering applications. 2.Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) based on ASME Y14.5 standards to ensure design clarity and manufacturability.
3.Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings
4.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and suppliers, to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
5.Apply knowledge of advanced machining techniques to ensure optimal design for manufacturability.
6.Participate in design reviews, presenting ideas and justifying design decisions clearly and effectively.
7.Document design calculations, specifications, and Bill of Materials (BoMs).
8.Support prototype development and provide input during fabrication and assembly stages.
9.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to design, assembly, or function
