Escalation Handling Handling Calls of Travel Insurance and assisting the Insured in registering the claim and advise them under which benefit they want to register as per the incident Handling Cashless and reimbursement medical cases and assisting the claims department in obtaining the medical reports and invoices from outside India Assisted the client employees/ insured during the Nepal Earthquake April’2015 [Heli Evacuations, Medical team, Hospitals OPD, IPD, Ground Ambulance Service Arrangements] Assisted the client employees/ insured during the Chennai Flood in Dec’2015 Ensuring that there is a certain level is slack in the system to cover busy periods. Managing any staff sickness levels and organizing the necessary cover. Providing accurate information to senior managers on key issues. Ensuring a clean, safe and friendly working environment for all team members. Making sure that Health & Safety rules are strictly followed by all team members.
Core responsibilities • Data and document management: Recording and updating information in databases, managing and organizing physical and electronic files, and processing documents like invoices and Medical Report for billing. • Order and transaction processing: Handling patient Request, arranging Appointment, Admission and Transportation and ensuring the timely arrangements. • Customer and internal communication: Handling patient inquiries and complaints, and coordinating with other hospital, clinics, doctors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. • Administrative support: Performing general administrative duties such as data entry, scheduling, and preparing reports and correspondence. • Analysis and reporting: Conducting market research, analyzing data, and preparing reports for senior management. • System and process maintenance: Maintaining internal systems, documenting processes, and monitoring operational efficiency. Required skills and qualifications • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is often required, though some roles may accept a diploma and equivalent experience. • Technical skills: Proficiency with office software like MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential. Familiarity with CRM software is also a plus, especially in sales-related roles. • Soft skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication are crucial for success. • Other: The ability to multi task, adapt to changing needs, and maintain confidentiality is often necessary.
