This role involves cost estimation, cost control, and ensuring that the project is completed within its projected budget.Key Responsibilities:Cost Estimation and Budgeting:Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential projects.Develop and monitor budgets and financial plans.Analyze and evaluate costs to ensure projects stay within budget.Tendering and Contracts:Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation.Evaluate and negotiate tender submissions.Administer and manage contracts with contractors and suppliers.Cost Control and Reporting:Monitor project costs and manage project cash flow.Conduct cost analysis and reporting.Prepare monthly cost reports and financial statements.Valuations and Variations:Conduct valuations of work in progress.Manage changes in project scope, identifying variations and assessing their cost impact.Prepare and agree on interim valuations and final accounts.Risk Management:Identify and mitigate risks related to project costs and contracts.Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Collaboration and Communication:Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors.Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.Communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
