Helper –Material Testing Laboratory

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Helper to assist in our Material Testing Laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will support lab technicians and engineers in day-to-day tasks including sample handling, preparation, equipment maintenance, and on-site assistance. This is a physically demanding role suited for someone who is responsible, punctual, and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist lab technicians and engineers with the handling, shifting, and preparation of samples (e.g., concrete cubes, cores, soil, aggregates, etc.)

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of lab premises, tools, and equipment

• Help in mixing, casting, and curing of concrete under supervision

• Load and unload material samples and lab equipment

• Support on-site sample collection and testing activities

• Label and store test specimens accurately and systematically

• Follow all lab safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times

• Promptly report any breakage, spillage, or unusual activity to the lab supervisor.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum qualification: 10th pass (preferred)•Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy samples and equipment

• Willingness to follow instructions and learn lab processes

• Reliable, responsible, and hard-working

• Prior experience in a civil lab or construction environment is a plus

Shift Details & Salary:

9-Hour Shift: Salary up to ₹12,000 per month

12-Hour Shift: Salary up to ₹18,000 per month
