Position: Field Service Engineer (Thermal Oil Heaters) Overview As our on-the-ground expert, you’ll be the critical link between our cutting-edge thermal oil heater technology and our clients’ operational success. You’ll commission, optimize, and troubleshoot, all while building strong, trust-based relationships. Key Responsibilities Equipment Commissioning & Installation Lead site erection and mechanical installation of thermal oil heater and auxiliary systems. Validate alignment, piping, and foundation work to OEM specifications. Performance Tuning & Optimization Fine-tune control parameters, combustion settings, and safety interlocks. Execute performance validation tests and implement enhancements to meet or exceed design benchmarks. Fault Diagnosis & Resolution Rapidly identify mechanical, electrical, and control system issues. Apply root-cause analysis to implement robust, long-term corrective actions. Client Relationship Management Act as the primary point of contact for client service inquiries. Cultivate rapport through clear communication, timely follow-ups, and solution-oriented support. Service Response & Support Provide 24/7 on-call support for emergency breakdowns and scheduled maintenance. Coordinate with engineering, parts, and logistics teams to ensure swift resolution. Electro-Mechanical Calibration Adjust sensors, actuators, valves, and control loops for optimal operation. Verify electrical wiring, grounding, and protective devices meet industry codes. Technical Reporting & Documentation Produce detailed service reports, commissioning certificates, and client handover documentation. Recommend preventive maintenance schedules and spare-parts inventories. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). 2+ years’ experience in Thermal oil heater commissioning, field service, or a related heavy-industry role. Strong diagnostics skills across mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Excellent client-facing communication and presentation abilities. Willingness to travel extensively and operate in diverse site environments. Proficiency with PLCs, SCADA, and combustion control platforms.
