Heating Air Conditioning Design Engineer

As a Design/Senior HVAC Design Engineer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic design team in Bangalore. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver HVAC design packages on time and within budget, ensuring the highest standards of quality and coordination. You will work across a diverse range of projects including commercial, retail, healthcare, residential, and high-rise developments. Your key responsibilities will include leading and executing HVAC design scope elements in accordance with project schedules and budgets. You will be involved in developing concept, schematic, and detailed designs for HVAC systems in various types of buildings. Additionally, you will provide space planning and HVAC system layouts in collaboration with the project team. Supervising and mentoring junior engineers and draftsmen to maintain the quality and accuracy of design deliverables will also be part of your role. Furthermore, you will be required to generate design documents such as calculations, drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Conducting HVAC system calculations and selecting suitable equipment including VRV, district cooling, heat recovery ventilation, kitchen & basement ventilation systems will be crucial. It will be essential to ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and standards, including UAE authority guidelines. Coordination with multidisciplinary teams including structural, architectural, and electrical disciplines will also be a key aspect of your role. Your proficiency in utilizing advanced tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HAP, and BIM360 for efficient design and documentation will be highly valued. Additionally, you may be required to participate in project management duties as needed. To qualify for this position, you should hold a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 4 to 13 years of total experience. A proven track record of 3 to 6 years on Gulf design projects is essential. Proficiency in HVAC system design and planning, hands-on experience with relevant software tools, and a strong understanding of HVAC systems and related codes and standards are required technical skills. Excellent communication skills, strong leadership qualities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are key soft skills expected from you.,
