Electrician: Must have knowledge of furnace, HPML Line, Sand Plant, PCC, MCC, LT, and EOT Crane.
Fitter / Engineer: Experience in Disa Flex - 70HS, Sand Plant, Induction Furnace, and Heat Treatment.
Exp.- 3+ years in Foundry Industry
Job Purpose:To operate heat treatment equipment and support lab testing activities. The operator will ensure proper execution of the heat treatment process, record output data, and assist in quality checks such as hardness and microstructure testing.
Key Responsibilities:Heat Treatment Operations
Operate furnaces, quenching systems, and tempering ovens as per instructions.Set temperature, time, and cycle as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).Load/unload components in baskets and furnaces using basic tools or lifting equipment.Monitor furnace parameters during operation and report deviations to the supervisor.Output Recording
Record daily heat-treated component quantities in logbooks or ERP sheets.Tag batches correctly with heat numbers, dates, and shift details.Maintain basic job cards and checklists related to production output.
Basic Lab Support
Perform surface and core hardness testing (e.g., Rockwell, Brinell).Prepare samples for microstructure checking under guidance.Record test results and assist QC in identifying defects.Safety & Housekeeping
Follow safety rules (PPE, safe handling of hot components).Maintain cleanliness around furnaces, quench tanks, and lab testing areas.Participate in 5S and basic maintenance activities.
