Healthcare Specialist

You will be responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting and backend support for unresolved Tier-2 escalations. Your key duties will include identifying system-level bugs, performance bottlenecks, and integration issues. You will perform backend diagnostics, log analysis, and database queries as necessary. Collaboration with Meditech vendor teams and internal developers will be essential. Additionally, you will manage system patches, version upgrades, and UAT coordination. Creating configuration change requests, performing change control, and documenting root causes for post-incident reviews (PIRs) will also be part of your role. You will provide advice on system optimization and workflow redesign initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Meditech Expanse architecture, deployment, and interfaces. Experience with HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare interoperability standards is required. Working knowledge of scripting, SQL, and backend EHR configurations is essential. Previous experience working with hospital IT, clinical informatics, and engineering teams is preferred. Familiarity with change management and system downtime handling is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or Engineering. Prior experience with Meditech Expanse system configuration or data migration is a plus. Certifications in Meditech, HL7 integration tools, or Health IT platforms would be beneficial for this role.,
