Appium Tester

We are looking for an experienced Appium Tester to be a part of our team and contribute to maintaining the top-notch quality of our mobile applications. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Appium, mobile testing, and automation frameworks. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, developing, and executing automated tests for mobile applications on different platforms like iOS and Android. Your role will encompass various key responsibilities such as designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Appium for mobile applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and team members to grasp requirements and actively participate in test planning. Your proficiency will be demonstrated through conducting mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms utilizing Appium and other relevant tools. Furthermore, you will be responsible for building and executing automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing. Troubleshooting issues, analyzing Appium test results to identify root causes, developing and managing test frameworks for mobile application testing will also fall under your purview. You will be expected to continuously enhance the automation process to achieve maximum test coverage and efficiency. Your duties will also include reporting, tracking, and managing defects throughout the testing process, integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar, and conducting cross-platform testing to ensure applications perform as expected across various mobile devices and OS versions. Moreover, your collaboration with development teams will be crucial to embedding quality early in the development process. Additionally, you will actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment within the team.,
