Job Description

As the Head of Total Rewards for a reputed manufacturing company in Mumbai, your role will involve designing and implementing compensation, benefits, rewards, and recognition strategies that are competitive, equitable, and performance-driven. Your deep expertise in reward design and data-driven mindset will be crucial in aligning reward programs with business objectives efficiently while enhancing employee engagement. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Benefits & Well-being:** Lead benefits strategy including health, retirement, wellness, and flexible offerings to improve employee experience. - **Market Benchmarking:** Conduct competitive benchmarking, salary surveys, and external analysis to ensure market competitiveness. - **Job Evaluation & Grading:** Oversee role evaluation, leveling frameworks, and internal equity reviews to support career architecture and mobility. Lead total rewards alignment post job evaluation. - **Executive Compensation:** Collaborate with leadership and the Board/Compensation Committee on executive compensation strategy. - **Data & Analytics:** Utilize analytics and reward dashboards for insights and decision-making; monitor reward effectiveness and ROI. - **Policy & Process Excellence:** Establish efficient, transparent reward processes and systems; ensure clear employee communication. - **Collaboration:** Partner with HRBPs, Finance, and business leaders for consistent, sustainable, and impactful reward practices. - **Global & Regional Alignment:** Align local practices with global total rewards philosophy while adapting to market needs. - **Team Leadership:** Lead and develop the Total Rewards team, ensuring functional expertise and business partnership. **Qualifications Required:** - 12+ years of HR experience, specializing in compensation & benefits/total rewards, preferably in a manufacturing environment. - Postgraduate degree in HR/Finance/Business Management; certification in compensation/rewards preferred. - Expertise in compensation strategy, benchmarking, and benefits design. - Strong financial and analytical skills with proficiency in reward modeling, data analysis, and cost optimization. - Ability to balance competitiveness with affordability and governance. - Experience in executive compensation and Board-level interaction desirable. - Excellent communication skills to simplify complex reward concepts for diverse audiences. - High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. - Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner across geographies. - Proven track record of leading teams and implementing best practices in reward strategy.,
