Job Description

As a Senior Principal IT Solution Architect at NTT DATA, you will be a highly skilled and advanced subject matter expert with cross-technology domain-level knowledge. Your role will involve creating integrated solutions, collaborating with the architectural consulting function, and architecting client solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of IT application software and infrastructure by outlining complex solution architecture descriptions across domains, functions, and industries and monitoring the implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert multi-technology advice to internal clients, analyzing and providing strategies and solutions on all aspects of application software, infrastructure, and related technology components. - Advise and lead the execution on the best design for information technology architectures. - Design and communicate high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs. - Use client business requirements to advise on the design, deployment, and operation of application infrastructures. - Provide expertise on the creation of designs that provide holistic views and contain the details of the components and interconnections between components. - Manage proof of concept (POC) initiatives and contribute to improving methodology frameworks. - Research and investigate emerging infrastructure technologies and best practices associated with these trends. - Provide coaching, mentoring, and technical expertise to less experienced team members. To thrive in this role, you need to have: - Significant ability to construct highly complex solutions using expertise in more of the function's offerings. - Knowledge of multi-technology software, OSs, infrastructure design best practices, and reference architectures. - Familiarity with project management principles, vendor roadmaps, and new product offerings. - Analytical approach and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to share and communicate ideas clearly, both orally and in writing, to various stakeholders. - Strategic thinking ability coupled with excellent business acumen. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field. - TOGAF/COBIT or related certification preferred. - Scaled Agile certification is beneficial. Required Experience: - Significant experience in multiple industries and disciplines. - Experience with software development processes or Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) projects. - Experience working as a senior solution architect in a global IT services provider organization.
