The Solution Architecture & Demands Lead will manage the team that provides system architecture and design specifications to support business and operating models and other architectural or security aspects. Keeps the alignment between enterprise architecture blueprint, recommendations and solution implementation. 5+ years of overall experience in Cloud architecture Experience leading or managing an Architecture Team Working with geographically distributed team across multiple time zones 3-5 years Infrastructure or Solution Architecture Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solution architectures for PaaS, IaaS or SaaS. Hands on experience with one of the three primary public clouds:AWS, GCP (preferred), or Azure. Experience designing and implementing the foundational elements in a cloud architecture Knowledge or experience designing and implementing automation solutions like Infrastructure as Code (IAC) solutions to build up and tear down infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, GCP Deployment Manager, or Azure DevOps Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations. Soft Skills Focused on quality and delivering results Take ownership and accountability Flexible in taking up different roles and tackling multiple technologies Work collaboratively on projects and help achieving company goals Strong analytic, organization, presentation, customer service and facilitation skills Ability to prioritize and execute on multiple concurrent initiatives with related or independent goals Be a Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering team to remove key blockers Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges Cost analysis and management Decision making/strategic thinking/negotiation skills Program management skills Leadership skills Talent management General management Problem solving skills Influencing others/working across boundaries Internal and External stakeholder management As part of our team, the Solution Architecture & Demands Lead will oversee a team of Cloud Engineers, Solution Architects & Individual Contributors reporting to you and carry out the following: Managing the Solution Architecture Team Design efficient, secure, adaptable, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions (data, networking, application) Drive all technical design and execution activities for moving existing on-premise infrastructure, server workloads, data and applications to the cloud IaaS and PaaS architectures. Communicate and socialize design and architecture design decisions. Communicate with senior leaders regarding the architecture, discuss problems and recommend solutions and improvements. Interact and work with application and business team members to provide the optimal environment for applications to deliver business functionality. Introduce and develop Infrastructure automation in the environment including IAC, CI/CD pipelines, and automated configuration management. Migration of workloads from on-premise/datacenter to Cloud Drive self-service automation initiatives Drive Product roadmap for Azure, GCP and AWS Drive generative AI initiatives Anticipates internal and external business challenges based on working experience and / or regulatory issues and drives independently improvements that create competitive advantage. Provides guidance on projects solution design compliance with enterprise architecture and makes recommendations for alignment, quality and efficiency based on experience. May be assigned to a particular project or program to ensure technical / architectural integrity and consistency of the solution
