This role is for one of Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 1200000 - Rs 2000000 (ie INR 12-20 LPA) Min Experience: 15 years Location: Mumbai, India JobType: full-time Requirements About the role Requirements : Minimum 20 years of Experience in Industrial Engineering / Plant Engineering Projects Work Exposure on all Mechanical Utilities Design knowledge & experience required in all mechanical services design like Firefighting / PHE/ piping for Compressor/ boiler/ Thermic fluid/acid/ alkali/ gas/ HSD etc. with respect to Latest IS/ NFPA/ International codes/ NBC 2016 latest. Should have complete Awareness of safety standards, regulations as well as IS and International codes Should have active work exposure on any Industrial Engineering Projects like Chemical Plant, Manufacturing Plant, Pharma, FMCG, Textile, Process Industries, etc Should be a Qualified Mechanical Engineer Should have Exposure to work in EPC / PMC or with Engineering Consultant companies. Job Profile : Review design and progress of the same and take preventive / corrective actions to meet targets. Submit project wise progress (Status report) to Engineering Head periodically. Assistance in procurement of contracts for the company in technical terms. Review and Interaction with other engineering dept. heads/PM for Data collection & obtain project brief, scope of work and time schedule. Build and update the databank within the group in terms of costing, data on similar executed projects, standard designs and details, statutory regulations, Indian and International codes, equipment wise data on various equipment. Supervise design calculations on basis of approval of DBR prepared by Sr. design Engineers / design engineers. Supervise schematic and layout drawings prepared by Sr. Design Engineers / Design Engineers to ensure it meets required milestones Supervise tender specification & BOQ for all equipment/systems, tender evaluation, interaction with bidders and recommendation, participation in price negotiation based on current market trend & value, preparation of draft works order. Should be well versed in the Tendering Process, post tendering jobs like evaluation, file notes, recommendations etc Estimation of Industrial Fluids, like steam, water, compressed air, Thermic fluid, etc for the project and estimation of pipe sizing for these services. Estimation of capacity of prime equipment's like Boilers, TFH, Air compressors, fuel storage, water storage, Pumps etc. Fire protection design as applicable for the proposed project with respect to the NBC, NFPA, TAC & Local Fire Regulations etc. Master planning for the utility lines in conjunction with the storage, generation and application points and Internal utility layouts as per the project. Rainwater drainage layout wrt to provisions of the NBC, SW drainage layout, wastewater treatment (STP etc), environmental (Rain water harvesting and reuse of treated water) Knowledge of Water Treatment and tertiary treatment will be an added qualification Should be well versed with the design of composite textile industries, and allied industries Must be familiar with Industrial, Commercial, Residential and Hospitality projects specifically. Wherever necessary, interaction with Client on technical issues to obtain their comments /approval on design documents, to their satisfaction. Supervise Inspection report of equipment at manufacturer's works to ensure it meets contract specification. In case of exigency, designing specific limited projects independently. (IMP) Allocation of Sr. Design Engineer, Design Engineer and Draughtsman for the project Review manpower requirements of the group and identify needs of additional manpower / outsourcing.
