Job Description

Role Overview: As the AGM - Head of Investments Back Office at our company located in Mumbai Lower Parel, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various financial functions including derivative accounting, NAV calculation, settlement of investment deals, MIS reporting, reconciliations, investment accounting, IRDAI reporting, US GAAP reporting, and IFRS reporting. You will be leading a team of 2 to 3 individuals to ensure the efficient and accurate execution of these tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day back-office settlement of deals, including liaising with custodians and conducting reconciliations. - Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of in-house NAV calculation. - Collaborate with the Finance team on Investment Accounting activities. - Prepare Investment Reporting as per requirements from IRDAI, the US team, and Management. - Coordinate with the US IT Team for Investment Management Functions related to GAAP accounting. - Handle IFRS Reporting responsibilities. - Verify Income & accruals, oversee investment accounting, derivative accounting, and Hedge effectiveness testing (HET). - Supervise Stat audit, Concurrent audit, internal/IRMS audit processes. Qualification Required: - Hold a CA/CFA and/or an MBA with a specialization in Finance from a premier institute. - Possess about 8-10 years of relevant experience.,
