Head of India Operations

You will be joining pyxer, an early-stage visual gen AI startup in the photography and apparel B2C space. The company is focused on developing an AI fashion photographer and stylist to help individuals discover and shop for their perfect looks. As the Head of India Operations, you will play a crucial role in managing the day-to-day operations of a small team located in Hyderabad. You should be a creative and driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong leadership skills. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a transformative consumer tech company with products that have a global reach. The role requires your physical presence at the office in the Hyderabad (HITEC City) area for 5 days a week. Your responsibilities will include overseeing India operations, managing a small product development team, collaborating with the engineering leader to achieve product goals, implementing marketing strategies, managing the marketing team, and establishing partnerships with apparel manufacturers. To excel in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in end-to-end business management, an MBA qualification, a penchant for innovation, leadership experience in technology or consumer companies, a calm demeanor, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment. Strong communication skills in English and a solid understanding of global consumer behavior are preferred. The compensation for this position will be based on your experience, and proven candidates may also receive ESOPs in the US entity.
